| Pawan Kumar | 8/10/2009 | | Government of India under the 72nd and 73rd amendemnet tried itself best to give representation of woman in the local bodies and in other forms of social structure but the reality is diffrent. Most of the times the power of the post especially in the case of the panchayats is used by any male member of the family and people also directly approached the male member instead of the real person or woman. so the empowerment of the women in real sense would come if the real holders of the power would be awared and come forward for the same. |
